Required Visa for Sri Lanka

Since January 2012 a tourist visa is required for the entry to Sri Lanka. This visa can be obtained in advance online: www.eta.gov.lk With this facility queues at the visa counter after landing at the Bandaranaike International Airport can be avoided.

Unfortunately, it often happens that guests completing the visa form entering the e-mail address of the Lanka Princess Hotel, instead of their own. In this case the visa confirmation and ETA number will be mailed to us. As we are not aware of the e-mail addresses of all our guests, we are not in a position to forward this confirmation. Arriving without this confirmation you might have to pay the visa fee again.
